Two-Lane Road Trips
Highway 2 actually starts in Everett, Washington, near Seattle. Last weekend we were over there for a church convention so I suggested to Lyle that we come back across on Highway 2 so we can count that segment as part of our summer road trip adventure. It was 280 miles and we ended that part in Spokane.

10 Things to Do Off-grid
We enjoyed our first camping trip of the season this past weekend. We were only gone 2 nights but it was fun to go off-grid for a few hours. Lyle and I took our trailer north to Priest Lake, almost to the Canadian border. We had no electrical or water hook-ups and no cell signal or internet service.
