An Oregon Story
Day 27 of our virtual road trip takes us north from California to Oregon. Four years ago we went on vacation to the Oregon coast. For today’s post I thought I’d share some of the highlights of that vacation.
On our way to the coast we stoppedĀ at Multnomah Falls.
We took our trailer and stayed at a nice RV park on the coast in southern Oregon (nearly to California). It was the off-season so we got a good rate.
Our RV site had a deck with a grill, a picnic table, and a hot-tub.
A little creek ran along behind the site, leading to the ocean. There was a trail along the creek that we followed every day to go to the beach. The weather was hit or miss, since it was October, but with fewer people it was a very relaxing time.
One day we flew a kite…
Another day we had a wiener roast…
The ocean and sky were different every day…

I have heard that Oregon is very beautiful, though I hear that it is also overcast and rainy a lot. Once again, NO I haven’t been to Oregon, but I enjoyed seeing your pictures. I thought it was neat that you had a deck and hot tub at your campsite.

It was very neat! We loved it. As you know, we are drive-a-lot but low-key-destination kind of people. This was perfect for us!

Sigh. I travel. A LOT! But this is another state I’ve not visited. Michael has, for work. I enjoyed reading of your adventures!

Even with all the states I’ve been to, there is still so much I haven’t seen.
