Let’s Go Fly a Kite
The weather has cleared off here on the coast. We are privileged to enjoy clear blue skies and sunshine yesterday and today… and for the rest of our time here, if the weather predictions are accurate.
Yesterday we bought a kite to take to the beach. The wind was perfect. No trees around to get tangled in. As long as the string doesn’t break, we’re in good shape.
We let out the string and the kite went higher and higher… It almost reached the sun. That would have required 93 million miles of string, of course. Too bad the kite only came with 300 feet.
Oh, well. It took long enough to reel that much back in. I don’t know why he wasn’t satisfied with just flying it right above his head like this. It was windy enough that he didn’t even have to do anything but stand there and hold on.

"I don't know why he wasn't satisfied with just flying it right above his head like this." Males..why can't they just do it the easy way?………

I guess the beach is a good place for it. No trees in the way.
