I’m making good progress on the 2016 reading challenge I started in January. However, I have abandoned the idea of trying to read the books in the order listed. I’m not even sticking to one group at a time. Basically, I’m back to reading whatever I want, then trying to make the books fit in the categories listed. I don’t think that’s the idea, but whatever. Actually, I do plan to fill in some of the harder categories before the year is out, so I’m sure I’ll be searching out titles to fill those slots.
In the meantime, here’s a list of some of the books I’ve read since my last update:
A book recommended by a family member: The Painter’s Daughter by Julie Klassen
A book that has a fruit of the Spirit in the title: Love on the Mend by Karen Witemeyer
A graphic novel: Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood by Marjane Satrapi
A book written by an author with initials in their name: Can I Know God’s Will? by R. C. Sproul (Currently FREE on Kindle! Follow the link.)
