Summer Morning on Lookout Mountain
Last Saturday a group from our church went up to Lookout Mountain Park for breakfast. Lyle built a fire in the picnic shelter fireplace, and cooked eggs, sausage, and hash-browns for breakfast burritos. As you can see, it was a gorgeous summer morning.

Traveling with Kids
Learning is a lifestyle in our family... and the learning doesn't stop even on vacation. Some of our best memories as a family involve cross-country road trips. It surprises me a little when I see people wince or shudder at the idea of traveling with their children. I've always looked forward to it.

Weekend Road Trip
We spent all day Friday and Sunday driving so we could be in Nampa, Idaho for my parents’ 50th anniversary celebration on Saturday. It took us just over 13 hours to get there.
