April Reading Recap
April was a good month for reading, but to be honest, I haven’t yet encountered a month that wasn’t. Granted, there are often months where I don’t fit in as much reading as others, but reading is always a good idea. Here’s what I completed in April:
Obligatory Disclosure: I am an Amazon Associate, so I earn from qualifying purchases when you click through on links in this post. Book Haul

I missed the April library book sale but still managed a pretty good haul for the month. I picked up How to Raise a Reader at the Dollar Tree, of all places. At a garage sale, I found Maggie Rose by Ruth Sawyer and a handful of vintage Scholastic books.
One of Lyle’s co-workers gave me the vintage Christian books. I had just re-read The Light in My Window by Francena Arnold on Kindle a few months ago. I have most of her books in hard copy, but I was missing that one. I’m also collecting juvenile series published by Moody Press, particularly books by Bernard Palmer. Adding those two Felicia Cartright titles to my library brings my total in that series to nine. According to Wikipedia, there are at least 19 in the series, so I’m still watching for more.
What have you been reading lately? Any of these titles?
