Review: Love Overboard

Today, I’m participating in a book tour for Love Overboard, a Christian rom-com novel by Shannon Sue Dunlap from Kregel Publications.

My Review

I’ve never been on a cruise and honestly, the experience is not high on my list of things I’d like to do. However, when I read the book blurb (posted below) for Love Overboard, I knew I wanted to read it. I mean, who could resist a group of quirky, matchmaking retirees?

For pure fun, Love Overboard did not disappoint. From hilarious outfits to over-the-top problem passengers, yes, I laughed all the way through the book.

I also enjoyed learning more about the cruise experience without having to risk seasickness or deal with crowds in tight spaces myself. The novel spans three back-to-back cruises on the same ship. The retirees live on the ship, and the heroine and hero work on the ship, so there is no break in the continuity of the story.

Overall, it is a satisfying read–perfect for summer.

A snort-laughing, cruise ship romance takes readers into topsy-turvy waters

When a group of four quirky friends retire on a neverending round of cruises, their attire consists of more than floral shirts and gaudy skirts. This laugh-out-loud rom-com features loveable characters, over-the-top situations reminiscent of 1950s sitcoms, and a dash of mystery. The toe-curling romance will push the reader overboard and all in with Shannon Dunlap’s new series.
