Anne of Green Gables
Of course I’ve read it umpteen times before but this is the first time I’ve listened to someone else read it! The reader does a great job! I am really enjoying it. I just love “Anne-with-an-E”! (My new little niece’s middle name is Anne (with an E!). I suspect her mommy was inspired by this literary character, as I was by another one!)
One quote I heard today made me laugh out loud. Diana’s aunt who took a shine to Anne said, “…She makes me love her and I like people who make me love them. It saves me so much trouble in making myself love them.” I thought that was great! I feel that way myself!
