Christmas Reading Challenge and Freebies
This December, I’ve decided to take on the Tinsel and Tales Readathon. I currently have several non-Christmasy books going, but maybe I can finish those up to fit in these nine.

Tinsel & Tales Readathon
Here are some of the books I’ve decided on for the challenge. I haven’t chosen a book for all the categories yet. I’ll come back and edit this post when I do. Let me know if you have any suggestions!
A note about the book and movie combo: To choose this title, I went to Redeem TV (a FREE streaming service) and browsed the Christmas movies. Then, I checked to see which movies were based on books that are readily available. Christmas Oranges is a picture book (so it will be quick to read) available to borrow for FREE at Archive.org. I haven’t yet read the book or watched the movie, but I’m looking forward to it. I enjoyed both the book and the movie. The movie did a nice job of expanding on the book. It is a sweet, family-friendly Christmas story. The movie has some tense and sad moments (but with a happy ending, of course), so it’s probably best for older children.
Christmas Freebies
As is my tradition during December, I want to share some interesting-looking titles that are currently FREE to download on Kindle. Sadly, Amazon no longer makes it convenient to share images, so this will just be a list of titles. Books were free when I posted them, and I will try to keep this list updated throughout the month, but be sure to check the price before you “buy.” I have not read most of these books, but I have tried to select titles that are inspirational and/or clean reads.
- The Cowboy’s Christmas Bride by Terri Grace
- Unlikely Santa: An Amish Christmas Story by Jennifer Spredemann
- Christmas All Year: A Clean Holiday Romance Collection
- Rhett by Liz Isaacson
- Finding Faith by B. E. Baker
- Trudy’s Holiday Suitor by Clara Pines
- The Cowboy’s Reunited Christmas by Danae Little
- Summer with the Carpenter by Ellie Hall
