What I Read in May
In May I read several books I received for review and listened to several audiobooks, along with a few others.
Coming up, I have several more Christian fiction books to review. And I’ve also added some of your recommendations to my to-be-read list.
My star ratings are according to GoodReads definitions:
- Did not like it
- It was ok
- Liked it
- Really liked it
- It was amazing

A young woman battling anorexia on a cross-country hike meets quirky characters along the way. Here’s my post…
The Sweet Life by Suzanne Woods Fisher
Fun book about a mother and daughter opening an ice cream shop. Here’s my post…
A Promise Engraved by Liz Tolsma

Glamping with MaryJane by MaryJane Butters
I find the idea of glamour + camping fun to think about, but probably something I would never do. I like going camping with my husband too well!
Dietrich Bonhoeffer: In the Midst of Wickedness by Janet & Geoff Benge
From the Christian Heroes: Then & Now series. A biography for young people about a great man of faith and courage during World War II.
I’m currently following a year-long Bible reading plan on the YouVersion app called Four Streams. It goes through the Old Testament once, the New Testament 4 times, Psalms twice, and Proverbs 3 times over the course of a year. These are the books I completed in May (a bunch of short ones!):
- 1 Corinthians
- 2 Corinthians
- 1 Thessalonians
- 2 Thessalonians
- 1 Timothy
- 2 Timothy
