Review: Off the Chain
Today I’m sharing a book review for Off the Chain, a Christian cozy mystery by Janice Thompson. It is Book 1 of the Gone to the Dogs Mysteries series published by Barbour.

My Review
A southern small-town setting with a slightly ditzy heroine who has a passion for rescuing dogs makes for a fun summer read.
Off the Chain includes several believable mysteries: Where is the owner of the rescued dog, and why haven’t they claimed him? Who vandalized the vet clinic? And then a more obvious: Which man will Marigold end up with? No dead bodies or gore, which, I guess, is what makes it a cozy mystery.
Also: must love dogs. I mean, you don’t have to, but if you do, you’re sure to enjoy this book. I’m looking forward to reading others in the series.
