Reading Lately

My summer has been so full with a wide variety of activities that it seems like I’m not getting as much reading done as I was during the winter and spring. I track my reading with the Goodreads app on my phone. I was surprised to see how much I actually have read the past couple of months when I checked the list.

It may be because, at least for this summer, my “reading personality” is Escapist–which means mostly quick reads for me.

I discovered my reading personality with this quiz at Modern Mrs. Darcy (aka Anne Bogel). I’ve been working my way through her new book, Reading People, in which she explores personality differences. I was asked to be on her book launch team and it’s turning out to be very interesting. I’ll be sharing more about that later.
