Old-Fashioned Popcorn
What do you do when you hanker for some popcorn but have no electricity? Do without, I thought. We were “dry camping” a few weeks ago and I mentioned that popcorn sounded good, but since we had no power the microwave in the travel-trailer was useless.
My romantic man remembered that and the next week went to Sportsman’s Warehouse and bought an old-fashioned over-the-fire popcorn popper. Much to my amazement, it works great! Especially since he’s willing to do the work.
It requires getting pretty close to the fire… …and a whole lotta shaking!!!
I failed to get a picture of the finished product, but it was delicious!

I remember my Mom and Dad had one of these when we went camping a long while ago. It was fun and tasted good too.

Awww! That’s so sweet!! 🙂
And I love how Rebekah is standing off to the side clutching a bowl and waiting…no doubt a bit impatiently? Hee-hee! At least that’s how I would be!
