A Year of Living Prayerfully by Jared Brock interested me as Lyle and I are currently reading Prayer: Does It Make Any Difference by Philip Yancy in our morning coffee time. The subtitle is How A Curious Traveler Met the Pope, Walked on Coals, Danced with Rabbis, and Revived His Prayer Life. I’m assuming it’s a memoir with prayer as the focus. Published by Tyndale House.
A Heartbeat Away

A Heartbeat Away by Harry Kraus, as you might infer by the cover, is a medical suspense drama. I read this one several years ago. It’s about a surgeon who receives a heart transplant and then starts having memories of things she never experienced. Published by David C. Cook.
Margaret Daley Box Set

Last week I mentioned a couple of different authors who write for the Love Inspired Suspense line of novels, which Rebecca enjoys. Margaret Daley is another Love Inspired author and this week she’s offering a free box set of three of her novels:

Texas Twosome
Time and money prevent me from traveling as much as I would like, but I can always escape with a book, right? I also find it interesting to read about places I’ve been to see if the author’s description fits with my experience.
Debbie White’s Romance Across State Line series grabbed me because each one is set in a different state. (There are 7 so far. I wonder if she is planning on 50?) The first one, Texas Twosome, is free right now.

The medieval setting and the theme of forgiveness caught my eye on this one.
