Friday Freebies

This week’s selection includes titles that appeal to me for fall. Take some time this week to curl up with your favorite hot beverage and check out one of these books!

Next week, I plan to start including Christmas titles. I won’t start reading Christmas stories until after Thanksgiving, but I guess it’s not too early to start loading up the Kindle.

The Stranger

Update: No longer free.

The Stranger by Melanie Dobson is Book 7 of 8 of the Legacy of Love series, but it’s fine to read it as a stand-alone novel. I read it several years ago under the title Love Finds You in Homestead, Iowa. It’s about the Amana society, which is similar in some ways to the Amish.

Courting Calla

Courting Calla by Hallee Bridgeman is Book 1 of the Dixon Brothers series. It looks like a fun “mistaken identity” story for fall.

My Brother, The King

Update: No longer free.

My Brother, The King by Jubilee Lipsey is Biblical fiction based on the story of David and Jonathan. Like I mentioned before,  I enjoy Biblical fiction if it is well-researched and stays true to scripture. I haven’t read this one yet, but it looks promising.

Bradley Farm

Bradley Farm: A Legacy of Love is Book 1 in the Bradley Farm series. It’s a story of young love that takes place during the Vietnam war.

No Greater Love

Update: No longer free.

No Greater Love by Gina Holder is Book 1 in the Shadows Over Whitman series. It is a romantic suspense novel about a young woman searching for her birth mother.

Forgiven Again

Update: No longer free.

Forgiven Again by Gina Holder is Book 2 in the Shadows Over Whitman series. It looks like it continues the story in No Greater Love, this time focusing on the birth mother.

If you missed my previous lists of free ebooks check out these posts. I’ve updated them to indicate which titles are still free.
