Friday Freebies

We’ll be starting our Big Adventure of the summer tomorrow, so of course I need to grab a few more books “for the road,” don’tcha know. Remember, we pretend I don’t already have way more books than I’ll ever get to on my Kindle. I’m a mood reader so I like to have plenty to choose from.

Today’s selection includes several with an intriguing twist in the premise. I like reading stories that add something fresh and unusual the same formulas I’ve read many times before. (I think that’s where I get hung up on my own writing. I struggle finding that “fresh” element, so I admire authors who nail it!)
