Big Adventure: Day 8
Day 8: Saturday, August 20
Location: Kalispell, Montana
Miles traveled: 0
Weather: Rain all morning. Overcast and/or drizzly the rest of the day. Cool.
Little Free Libraries visited: 4. (Total for the trip: 12)

Today was much like yesterday, in that I worked from my trailer “office” (aka dinette) for several hours. It was raining anyway, so couldn’t do much of anything else.

It stopped raining after lunch so we went out to explore around Kalispell a bit. We found 4 more Little Free Libraries.

Then we went to the laundromat. This is a Big Adventure, I tell ya!

After we finished the laundry we found a park with a beautiful Formal Garden. That’s what it was called. The Formal Garden.

There was a foot bridge with a handsome man crossing…

…a pretty little stream with a number of mallard ducks, including this mama with her cute little babies.

Finally, we stopped by Chick-fil-A to get carry-out to bring back to the picnic table at our RV site.
We’ll be leaving Kalispell tomorrow to pick up with Highway 2 where we left off in July. This time we’ll be staying on it all the way to Michigan. Stay tuned for more adventures along the way… hopefully a little more interesting than today’s “adventures.”

I see the man on the footbridge. BUT was there a flirting bench?

Yes, indeed! The flirting bench was near the ducks, and we sat and Flirted! (Not the first flirting bench on this trip either!)
